A livery car carrying Chester Parker his wife Dessie Simerman Bertha Howard and Anna Caminetta overturned a quarter mile south of Kramer while en route from Mudlavia to Williamsport. Parker suffered a broken collar bone Mrs Parker badly bruised Simerman received a head blow. All others escaped serious injury and Mrs Parker has returned to work.

Victim of Peculiar Accident Near Winthrop
Mrs. Cecil Brown suffered a severe flesh wound when a loaded cartridge exploded while she burned leaves at her home near Winthrop Saturday afternoon. A fragment struck her leg above the knee and doctors could not locate the bullet. She was sent to a Lafayette hospital for X rays to detect any foreign substance. none appeared. Her husband expects her to return home soon.
