Mayor and officers warn cyclists on Chestnut Street

Last night Mayor Tilden and two night men rounded up bicycle riders near the Park hotel and explained the city ordinance on cycling, warning that enforcement will begin. The gathering followed reports of riders traveling in a group and at high speed, prompting the mayor to hail them and cite compliance requirements.

Yesterday afternoon the Atlantic Juveniles defeated the Grinwold Tigers by 82 to 1018. Early innings were tight but the Juveniles pulled away as runs mounted while the Tigers failed to match the pace.

A large crowd attended a social last night hosted by the Y M C A and the Presbyterian church at J B Jones home on East Fifth Street. The lawn was lit by electric lamps strung between trees and refreshments were served at tables in the yard.

Funeral of Mrs Talbot Held at Baptist Church

Funeral services for Mrs D W Talbot were conducted this afternoon at the Baptist church by Rev A J Jones and Rev Ramsey. Floral tributes filled the altar as a mixed quartet provided music. Interment followed at Atlantic Cemetery.
