In Justice Court John J. Jones was arrested yesterday on information sworn by his father I A Jones for malicious mischief and destruction of property. The hearing was moved to Justice Wallace with 10 o clock set Monday though he may waive examination and await the grand jury. Tragic Runover Kills Eagle Grove Man Fred Hodges
Fred Hodges, a 45 year old brake and switch man from Eagle Grove, was fatally struck by a car on a special steel train in Tama yards. He died at 7 45 am after being mangled, his body to be sent home this afternoon. He leaves a wife and two children, and was a longtime resident with friends greatly shocked by the accident.
