Atlanta Faces Looming Unemployment If Bond Fails
Georgia Labor Federation chief Lovie PF Marquardt warns that Atlanta will see a wave of job losses by November 1 as large building projects wind down unless the municipal bond issue is approved by September 30. He cites about 1.25 million dollars in current large-scale construction and outlines planned projects from Candler warehouses to university and school buildings and dozens of apartments, offices, and public works.

Woman Prosecuted by Father-in-Law
A frail looking but pretty Sadie Dean faced Recorder Johnson on a disorderly conduct charge as her father-in-law John Dean prosecutes. The detective claimed her husband R. W.
