Pickpockets Busy at Georgia Virginia Football Game
At Ponce de Leon park during the Georgia Virginia game, 26 year old Ray Baumberger of 32 West Baker street was arrested for pocket picking and seizing a gold watch and pin. Accomplice W. Farley also arrested after a watch found on him. Walraven credited for detaining Baumberger until detectives arrived. Additional victim reports include a $35 loss and a back-pocket theft at Five Points.

Washington, October 25. Rev. F. A. Torndorf of Georgetown University, a seismology authority, states there is little danger to the Panama Canal from earthquakes. He disputes alarmist views, citing Panama’s history as largely free of quakes and noting recent tremors in the Canal Zone reflect disturbances farther in the Pacific.
