The Central Bank and Trust Corporation led by Asa Candler pledge to finance cotton growers at six cents a pound middling, building warehouses with space for up to 1,090,000 bales. First section to hold 5,000 bales will be ready Saturday night, land spans 16 acres with 1,200 feet railroad frontage.
