Supreme Court Reverses Board of Health Nuisance Ruling
The Georgia Supreme Court reverses Judge Lumpkin and rules that the Board of Health must give notice before abating a public nuisance. It holds that in Atlanta the recorder’s court holds authority to abate nuisances, and that removal of the Union Depot floor without proper legal action was improper.
