The May Sale at this store features muslin underwear including corsets praised for individual fit, night dresses with lace, embroidery, and ribbons, and numerous nainsook garments. Offers include Corset Covers, Slips, combinations, camis, petticoats, chemises, and drawers priced from under a dollar to about $3.50, with many items discounted and many styles available.
Regular 25c quality cambric drawers for children ages 2 to 12 offered in the May Sale. Well made garments with hemstitched frills and clusters of tucks, 15c a pair, among numerous opportunities for children.
White Goods features an excellent variety of weaves and low prices. Striped Flaxon at 18 cents a yard, 32 inches wide, plus 36 inch plain Flaxon linen finish, 38 inch Iming Lawns, 32 inch Persian Lawns, Persian Lawns up to 45 inches, French Lawns, Dimities and Lingerie Batiste. Also Linen finished fabrics, Lunkerty and Blarney Suitings, Auto Suitings shrunk to 15 cents.
Advertises white dress linens including 38 inch all linen lawns semi sheer at 25 cents per yard and 40 inch sheer all linen lawns at 29 cents per yard. Also linen suitings 36 inches wide at 25 cents per yard.
Sego Argentine Silks and Seco Brazil Silks in soft shades with self dots, offered at 25c per yard. Hydegrade Galateas at 15c yard with black and white assortments. Black Diamond cotton Cheviots arrive in new patterns at Roc per yard. suitable for women's and children's wear.
Newly arrived laces at 2c yard offer a large Valenciennes and Point de Paris selection with edgings and insertions in popular widths. Swiss flouncings for lingerie and matching galon bands are included, with many pieces selling for 20c to 25c elsewhere, now offered at a lower yard price.
