A rushed sale of lace and silk fabrics announces 5000 yards of butter color laces, 39¢ to 49¢ a yard, plus 32 inch silks at 25¢ to 89¢, French ginghams at 14¢, Grenadines and voile fabrics, Parisian dress patterns from 7.50 to 15.00, and large selections of Serge, Ginghams, Lawns, and Dimity on first floor outlets with many pieces at drastic markdowns.
A retail feature lists deep discounts on corsets and women’s wear. 60 satin style and patent band corsets from Ryan stock drop from $5 to $1.48, plus numerous ladies suits, capes, and shirt waists discounted. Prices span from 85c to $10, with frequent cutbacks on lace, satin, and fineline items.
