Charley Ridgway Paralyzed in Cuthbert
Charley Ridgway, foreman at C L Tomlin’s livery stables in Cuthbert, suffered a paralysis stroke last night. His left arm is chiefly affected and he had complained yesterday but friends did not expect such serious trouble. A permanent speedy recovery is hoped for by many friends.

Vicious Dog Attacks Child and Is Killed
The son of Mrs Vering was bitten by a vicious dog at 6 Brotherton Street while visiting Mrs Middlebrook’s yard. Officers Jones and Coker killed the dog at the direction of a physician.
