The finance committee of the board of education held an open meeting yesterday. Bids for school supplies were opened and discussed openly. The committee adjourned after many hours and set a next meeting for Wednesday afternoon. They accepted Milton Bridiey Company for drawing papers and color items while Lester Hook and Stationery supplied most drawing materials. The National Pencil Company of Atlanta will furnish drawing pencils. The panel agreed to purchase planetariums from N. W. Hur the Inventor for geography teaching in the high schools.
