Washington June 30 Senator Cummins of Iowa and Senator Borah of Idaho led the day’s debate on taxes. Borah criticized corporation tax as a burden on consumers, while Cummins defended the income tax as fair and essential.

Frederick Maryland June 30 Patrolman William Orrison was killed last night as he confronted Frank Cahill 18 who allegedly rode rides for free near Cahill home.
