Two Men Killed in W & A Wreck Near Cartersville
Cartersville Ga December 19 Two firemen of Western and Atlantic special train No 93 died when the train left a 33 foot embankment one mile from the city. About a dozen passengers were injured as cars piled into a giant pine tree that broke their fall. Engineers and conductors from Atlanta Nashville and Chattanooga were among the injured or uninjured passengers. Relief trains were sent to the scene and most injured were reported improving by night.
