Cotton Makes Big Advance in Dec Cotton Trade

New York December 12 The cotton market showed a strong advance over ten days of trading with all active months above prior levels. January and March futures rose about 360 points from the low, aided by Liverpool demand and strong local buying, while spot prices in New Orleans and New York held firm and receipts were reported at higher totals than last year.
