Educators Conclude Three Day Southern Conference

A three day session of southern educators at the Faifmont Hotel adjourned with high praise. Dr Edward Anderson Alderman presided. Robert C Ogden attended as guest. State superintendents from Virginia North Carolina Texas Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Georgia Florida South Carolina and others participated. Resolutions calling for more state funding improved schoolhouses salaries rural schooling high schools and college ties were adopted unanimously.
