The Fourth National bank of Atlanta has bought 170000 in 2 percent treasury certificates and will push it into circulation. National banks expected to use 3 percent certificates to expand circulation as 25 million in certificates were offered. The jury recommended a misdemeanor punishment. An effort was made to prove Joiner mentally irresponsible and counsel may–perhaps–seek lunacy proceedings.
Steagall Contempt Case Postponed to Monday
Montgomery December 4 The contempt case against Solicitor Henry B Steagall did not proceed today due to his absence. Judge Thomas G Jones recessed the matter to next Monday when Steagall will answer the charge of misbehavior toward a deputy marshal serving papers in the railing injunction suits.

Ten dollar bill raised to twenty exposed in Alabama case
