Statement on Primary Procedure by State Chairman Pendleton

State Chairman C R Pendleton explains the primary rules to county committees amid a shift to the county unit plan. He says one oath and one precinct return suffice for election results and consolidation, with blank consolidation forms unnecessary. He notes only blank voter lists and tally sheets are needed, no state-furnished tickets, and extra blank precinct returns were mailed to counties to ensure enough forms. If blanks are missed, chairs should wire Macon or Atlanta for duplicates.
