Shepherd automatic switch tested on long Oakland sidetrack

A large Kansas City locomotive tested the Shepherd automatic switch on the Oakland City sidetrack with a freight car. Washington August 93 The end of the senate lobby committee investigation is not in sight as Senator Reed says the Senate provided for the committee’s expenses.
