Pitiable Conditions at Grady Hospital for Nurses Described
An editorial condemns Grady Hospital for inadequate nurse provisions. It contrasts Grady’s overcrowded, antiquated dormitories with Louisville’s modern facilities, noting sleep in linen closets, insufficient space, and only three years of service for $3 monthly. The piece argues for better pay, more staff, and proper housing to ensure proper patient care.
