South Carolina Mileage Books and Intrastate Travel Rules

The text explains that interchangeable and interstate mileage forms are valid only for interstate journeys and not for intrastate travel within South Carolina. It notes that mileage books issued before May 1, 1912, may still be used for intrastate travel under original ticket contracts, and that the 500 mile family book will honor exclusively intrastate transport on trains. Baggage checking will follow the same regulations as the mileage books.
