Judge Robertson Tries to Beat Death After Wife Slaying
Judge Edward A Robertson of Milton County shot his wife four times and then wounded himself as he vied with death in a high speed car ride to St Josephs Infirmary in Atlanta. The wife Lola Letson Robertson died from her wounds while Robertson was treated by Dr William Nicolson. Police and witnesses described jealousy as a possible motive but Robertson admitted only that he did the shooting. The couple had four children and Robertson had served as ordinary for Milton County since three years ago. The emergency ride to Atlanta by car Teasley drove at fifty miles per hour and the hospital said Robertson rested easy at midnight.
