In Starkville on April 17 Georgia defeated A and M 13 to 7 in a see-saw contest using six pitchers. Georgia broke open with five runs in the ninth as errors and hits powered the rally. Key moments included Holden, Spurlock, and Clements driving in runs and Shaw's three-base hit for A and M.
