The Clarke county legislative campaign between Major Carlton and Burnett ends tonight with quiet activity and door to door contact. Carlton will speak at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Check Factory as voters head to polls tomorrow to decide Clarke county’s representative in the state legislature.
A pug owned by Dan Boynton was shot by Policeman Rose after biting Boynton’s daughter twice and snapping at Hoke and Dr. Dillard. Neighbors reported the animal foaming at the mouth and the dog showed signs of hydrophobia before it died.
