Banner guessing contest attracts wide attention

Death of Mrs Willis Collins at Barverville home

Mrs Willis Collins died yesterday morning at ten o'clock after a long illness. She had been a patient sufferer for five years and remained confined to her room, reportedly resigned to her condition.

Rules Adopted for State Primary by Georgia Democratic Committee

The State Democratic Executive Committee met in Atlanta on March 26 1992 to set a white Democratic primary. It orders a statewide primary on June 8 to select governor secretary of state attorney general and other officers with delegates to the state convention. It directs county committees to report results and to appoint delegates. It also orders a Circuit by circuit vote for judge and solicitor general and to place winners on the Democratic ticket. It designates a concurrent vote for United States senator and leaves county committees to arrange assembly nominations under state law.
