The Banner announces a guessing contest with a $10 prize for the correct or nearest correct count of counties each of the three non governor candidates will carry in the June 5 primary. Entries must be mailed with a $1 subscription by midnight June 8.
Jangé Foster named the following managers for the state primary in Clarke County next Thursday. J Tribble T W Reed H McDorman B Davis. The list includes Clarke County officials and party stewards overseeing polling and procedures.
Mrs Willis Collins died yesterday morning at ten o'clock after a long illness. She had been a patient sufferer for five years and remained confined to her room, reportedly resigned to her condition.

The State Democratic Executive Committee met in Atlanta on March 26 1992 to set a white Democratic primary. It orders a statewide primary on June 8 to select governor secretary of state attorney general and other officers with delegates to the state convention. It directs county committees to report results and to appoint delegates. It also orders a Circuit by circuit vote for judge and solicitor general and to place winners on the Democratic ticket.
