Attempt Made to Murder Floyd County Judge Harris
Rome Ga May 14 A bold attempt to murder G A H Harris former judge of the Floyd county city court is reported. Harris has vigorously prosecuted train riders. A dozen or more tramps gathered near his home and a whisky dazed man revealed the plot. Sheriff and posse rounded up suspicious characters. two are thought wanted for burglary. Over fifty tramps have been arrested in the past month for train riding, causing trouble for authorities.
