States Follow Georgia ruling on express routes
Special to The Banner Atlanta May 6 formal notice filed with Georgia railroad commission by Southeastern Express and American Railway Express directing strict compliance with the commission order that no change be made in existing routes and through rates. Florida Alabama and Tennessee rail commissions followed, keeping April 30 routes and through rates, regardless of single or dual service. Southeastern argues for open routes and shortest, quickest dispatch, while American says it does not wish to interrupt traffic flow by the most natural route.
