A Louisville Kentucky reader from 1468 Second Street writes of long illness due to irregular care. After five months of severe pain backache and head pain with restless nights, Wine of Osrdul is claimed to have relieved pain restored health and improved general well being over weeks of use.
An advertisement claims Wine of Cardui regulates menstrual flow and banishes headaches and backaches. It warns that menstrual irregularities lead to dangerous chronic troubles and urges immediate treatment with a $1.00 bottle sold by all druggists.
The Board of Visitors reports on inspection of University departments buildings campus farm and extensions. They commend Chancellor Hill and faculty while urging additions like an adjunct in Mathematics and a psychology professor, improved heating and a dean residence, stronger libraries, and funded expansions across Agriculture Law and Engineering. They note moral tone improving, praise athletic and literary societies, and urge campus repairs and funding for Brown Fund notes.
The sale offers light airy lawns and sheer batiste at 10 cents a yard, worth 124 and 15 cents. Each piece is pristine and flat not crumpled, fresh and clean as new dollars. Prints include dots stripes geometric patterns florals and foliage, with a vast selection of designs from the season.

Choice foulards and summer silks reduced to 62 cents a yard, all 1.00 foulards at 75 cents, Habutai wash silks 48 cents, 27 inch China silks at 49 cents, 6 cents dress silks now 49 cents, plus closing out wool dress goods at sharp cuts.
