Dates Set For Georgia Educational Institutions Hearings
Atlanta July 12 Special Chairman Candler of the Appropriations committee announced the panel will hear from representatives of all educational institutions in the state on Thursday afternoon July 18 and from eleemosynary institutions such as the state sanitarium academy for the blind school for the deaf and soldiers' home on Tuesday afternoon July 23.

Miss Bessie Richards Dies After Brief Illness
Miss Bessie Richards died yesterday morning at six at her sister Mrs. E H Brown's home on Barber Street after a brief illness. She served as secretary to President Branson of the State Normal College and was loved by students and church members. The funeral will be at six this afternoon at Mrs. Brown's residence, with burial at Oconee cemetery. Dr. W H Young will conduct the services. pallbearers include E B Smith and D L Earnest among others.
