Athens Bar Association meets to elect, invite, and reform
A meeting of the Athens Bar Association discussed three aims: elect two executive committee members E. K. Lumpkin and Judge George C. Thomas. invite the State Bar Association to hold its annual session in Athens. and urge Clarke County Superior Court and Athens City Court to consider 9 am to 2 pm one-session days to improve jury service. The president named committees on ethics and entertainment and a floral tribute to Mrs Speer.
