A large number of young men arrived to attend the winter school of agriculture and the outlook is for a sizable attendance. The course began with good enrollment and is expected to reach fifty new students in this special program.

State Normal School Opens New Session After Holidays
Yesterday morning the State Normal School opened its session with large attendance. Many new students filled places left by Christmas term students and the school is full again. President Branson and the faculty are at their posts and ready for months of work. The Practice School resumes January 3 at nine o'clock with fifteen pupil limit for first time entrants. The outlook for the year is bright with strong teachers and earnest student teachers promising exceptional work.

Ridley shot at wedding in La Grange Georgia
Dr Frank M Ridley Jr of La Grange was shot and wounded at the home of C B Ridley during a wedding reception. Harvey Hill of Atlanta fired twice in the kitchen, wounding Ridley in the face and abdomen. Hill was arrested. Ridley, former UGA football captain, is a cousin of the bride Miss Ridley.
