Two Students to Face State Case Over Campus Bell Theft
State authorities will press warrants and bring state charges against two freshmen, Messie Malone and Knight, believed to have possession of the removed campus bell. Police recovered the bell on Hancock avenue. about twenty five students were involved. City cases could not be docketed as the bell was taken from outside Athens city limits. An epidemic of coughing also sweeps the town with Fo leys Honey and Tar given as a remedy at local drugstores.
