Constantinople Feb 6 The sultans brother in law Damad Mahmud Pasha long prominent in the Young Turk movement has been sentenced to death by default after refusing to return to Constantinople. He was expelled from Greece and fled to Rome then Paris where he remains safe. The criminal court issued the arrest warrant and the death sentence followed.
