Burial of J. O. Bridges at Hull after Athens death

The remains of Mr. J. O. Bridges of Athens were buried in Hull on December 13 after death the prior Sunday. Funeral services at Oconee street church in Athens were led by Rev. A. J. Sears Rev. A. A. Sullivan Will Saye and Cooper. Many friends accompanied the funeral party from the family.

Auto Kills Little Girl in Atlanta

Annie Lou Smith died after being struck by a car at Peachtrea and Tenth Streets in Atlanta. The driver J H Whitten of M L Thrower Co said the child darted into the street on slippery pavement and the car could not be stopped in time. She was returning from school and was the daughter of Lee A. Smith of Richards Smith meat dealers.
