The grand jury adjourned yesterday afternoon after transacting considerable business. It recommended dropping J. L Hanson and J. W. Pooler from the pension roll as not entitled to receive pensions, and cited several other names as doubtful under the law. A better voucher system for the treasurer and a policy that tax returns be filed with the tax receiver were urged. The county was urged to fund Elijah Clarke chapter DAR for a memorial in Athens.
