Seventeen-Year-Old Messenger Boy Dies After Collision
Cleveland Leverett aged about seventeen died from a skull fracture after a bicycle collision with a cab on Broad Street near Thomas yesterday afternoon. Cab driver Len Flournoy said the boy struck the vehicle and was seen bleeding and in pain before succumbing several hours later. Coroner to probe as witnesses report the incident and rival accounts. The boy, known by several names, had worked as a news butcher and recently began carrying cotton quotations for Postal Telegraph.

Augusta Autoists Killed In Savannah Tour Accident
Tollop Lowrey of Columbia South Carolina was killed and Jules Reynolds of Augusta was badly injured when Maxwell entry No 67 in the Augusta Herald tour to Savannah overturned near his home at 11 this morning. The injured lay in the road for an hour before help arrived. Lowrey died in Waynesboro this afternoon. Reynolds suffered a severe head injury and multiple broken ribs.
