Car Crashes Net Damage In Weekend Totals
Pomeroy Meigs County deputies report several weekend crashes. Harold Chapman 48 Milton West Virginia and James Starcher 20 Long Bottom were in a 9 pm Route 124 collision on a hill crest with Starcher cited for left of center. A Maynard New Haven vehicle had a right door smashed by a hit and run at a tavern lot. Two cars damaged at a Sportsman Bar incident included Russell Fry 22 San Clemente and Michael Capehart 21 Pomeroy. No arrests. The October Service Guild luncheon for Christ Episcopal Church is set for Wednesday at 1 pm at the church parish house hosted by Mrs. Ingraham and Mrs. Connors.
