Cruz Walks Off as Mariners Top Indians in Seattle
Nelson Cruz belted a two run walk off homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift Seattle over Cleveland 3 1. Erasmo Ramirez pitched eight strong innings allowing one run on three hits with 10 strikeouts as Seattle snapped a six game skid and crushed the Indians 22 game win streak illusion. Ramirez faced a potent lineup and tied career highs with eight innings and 10 strikeouts while Giovanni Urshela provided the lone Cleveland homer on a 1 2 pitch. Seager opened the tying rally with a double and a misplay by Jay Bruce sparked the late game.
