AHS Counselor Sets Meetings for College Planning
Athens High School seniors set to meet with Karen Vedder the college counselor this Friday. Parents may attend sessions at the high school. juniors graduating early may join. Sessions by last name: A through C 8:18 to 9, D through J 9 to 9:45, K through R 9:45 to 10:30, S through Z 1 to 1:45 in Room 158. Topics include entrance exams scholarships and college selection. The Norwegian post horn stamp series dates to 1872, the world's oldest still in use.

Builders urged to prove construction starts for gas service
Residential builders who applied for new natural gas service must show evidence of commencement by Oct 1 as required by a PUCO order. Rothel of Columbia Gas of Ohio outlined that completion of footers or foundation walls constitutes construction. Mobile homes require pad completion and park preparation by October 1.
