Bids Rejected On Road Work In Pomeroy Area
The State Highway Department rejected HM bids for a 100000 surfacing project on the Pomeroy to Langsville and Dexter route due to complications in condemnation suits. About nine quits await resolution with landowners, delaying completion and potentially postponing work to next year. Sheriff Willock and Deputy Welker escorted a man to the scene the same evening.
