Texas couple under scrutiny in multi state neglect case
In Lubbock Texas a couple faces a complex neglect case over 11 children aged 16 months to 17 years. Children were placed in state custody after welfare workers found unsanitary conditions and some were taken to Colorado. Families previously involved in Michigan New Jersey and Plano cases dating back to 2001. Local neighbors report children scavenging in trash and a foul smelling home while parents defend their lifestyle and seek custody. The hearing continues as authorities discuss inter state information sharing challenges and possible moves to Colorado for better employment.
