Dave Sagan says the state’s strict new exotic animal rules followed the Zanesville 2011 incident and forced him to drop four snakes including three albino and one reticulated python. He notes liability insurance and permit costs have become prohibitive while Ohio requires coverage of up to 100000 for small collections and higher for more snakes.
