Thomas J. Price, 58, secretary treasurer of United Mine Workers District 6 in Ohio and West Virginia panhandle, died of a heart attack after being stricken at the Virginia Hotel. A 30-year UMW policy maker and three-year district treasurer, he lived in Columbus and was a native of Midvale, Tuscarawas County.
