Police stun gun used on man who bit officer in Ohio
Akron area police say 24 year old Jordn Miller was shocked with a stun gun after running naked and biting an officer in Springfield Township Summit County. He remained hospitalized in serious condition as officers responded to a report of a naked man acting strange in a vehicle. He allegedly kicked officers before the stun gun was deployed and showed signs of a possible overdose.

Nelsonville man pleads guilty in Valero gas station robbery
Noel Anthony, 46, of Elm Rock Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and two counts of aggravated burglary for the May 9 Valero gas station robbery in The Plains. He received six years in prison with no judicial release, plus restitution totaling $334.83 and three years of mandatory post release control.

Three Arrested in Meigs County Home Invasion
Meigs County Sheriff's Office reports three men from Pomeroy identified as Troy Brooks 51 Johnny Hawley 48 and Ronald Hawley 45 were charged with aggravated trespassing assault and felony complicity after a Route 143 residence invasion. A female resident said two suspects entered the home while a third waited outside. The woman sustained facial injuries and the boyfriend fled. Brooks and Ronald Hawley were questioned and Johnny Hawley surrendered. Investigators expect further charges.

Athens man charged in burglary and tools case
Joseph Wiley 27 of Tucker Run Road was arrested after a tip about a suspicious person in Cable Lane. Police say he possessed tools, a knife, gloves and foreign coins, burglarized a Mary Street residence, and is held on a 30000 dollar bond with a preliminary hearing set for September 15.

Columbus AP report details Logan County indictment charging Joseph Pilkington, 43, with one count of sexual battery for an assault on Brittany Pilkington in 2009.
