Meigs Local Schools with coordinator Mrs Mildred Bailey run the second year Diversified Job Training in Vocation. Eighteen students are placed in foods child care teaching aide housekeeping aide nurses aide and teacher aide roles earning pay while studying English and government 15 hours weekly.

Evangeline Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star held its annual Mothers and Daughters banquet with Middleport Masons catering the dinner. Mr and Mrs James Criswell are vacationing on a tour of the New England States. Mason Wahama High School cheerleaders will sponsor a teenage dance party Friday after the Wahama Kyger Creek game. The Jays will provide music at the High School gym.
