Lodge Sewage Unit Deemed Deplorable by State Inspectors
Robert Kornmiller, lodge maintenance director, faced state findings of deplorable sewage plant conditions at Hide-A-Way Hills Lodge in Hocking County. Fred Klingehofer reported black odorous sewage outside the plant, a malfunctioning blower, and lack of security. The plant has been non-operational for over 10 days and a follow-up inspection after Sept 17 will decide if violations result in affidavits or license revocations.
