OUPD probes two rape reports during Labor Day weekend
The Ohio University Police Department is investigating two rape reports from Labor Day weekend. The first occurred at 3:42 a.m. Saturday at Pickering House with an acquaintance as the alleged offender, and the second at 12:08 a.m. Sunday at Bush Hall involving another acquaintance. Both cases are under investigation, following similar reports to Athens Police Department last week.

Three apply for Nelsonville police chief post
Three people filed applications to become the next chief of the Nelsonville Police Department. City Manager Gary Edwards confirmed that current Chief Jason Wallace resigned effective September 30.
