County commissioners were presented with an estimated 114000 for a two mile highway to the Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Co. Poston Plant at Hamley Run. County Engineer John Dowler, who objected earlier, notes heavy hauling demands justify substantial pavement. The plan includes 45000 for excavation, 22000 for a 40 foot beam bridge, 12000 for small structures, and 35000 for pavement. The commission will consider the estimate along with a separate request tied to Poston Plant operations.
