Kelley held by Wilkesville officers. Stolen items include vestments worn by Rev. Father Dowd. Kelley is said to have sold some church articles.
Ohio State University poultry calendars and cost record books have been mailed to poultry raisers in the county. County Extension Agent T. H. Johnson says the calendars provide monthly seasonal practices to boost egg production and maintain flock health. Additional calendars and books can be obtained by writing to T. H. Johnson.
Dr C Dozer of Roseville reports his car taken from in front of his home, driven to a collision with a car from Pomeroy a short distance away. The vehicle was badly damaged and the thief fled the scene.
Cleveland honors Senator Theodore Burton as funeral plans unfold. A 19 member Senate delegation will accompany the body from Cleveland to Lakeview Cemetery where Knights Templar will conduct rites. The grave site lies south of the Garfield monument as dignitaries recall his long public service.

New Orleans detectives forced Ione Ord, a New York show girl, to view the body of Jack Kraft, an artist and traveling companion, in a shallow river grave near New Orleans. She fainted but recovered and gave a statement believed to implicate a suspect in Kraft's death.
The Supreme Court affirmed lower court judgments in favor of State Senator George H. Bender awarding $3,000 for an unwarranted 1925 raid on his Cleveland Heights home. The raid by late W J Patrick a state dry agent found no liquor. Defendants Hess Patrick widow John Connors police officer and two insurance companies were named in the suit.
Miss Mary Belle Abbott aged 66 was killed in Malta when struck by a car driven by H. K. Hummel of Zanesville. She carried an umbrella believed to have obstructed her view at the time of the accident.
A will filed in New York reveals that Stephen B. Elkins left a life income of 1000 dollars per month to a friend Mrs. E. J. Martin of Hollis Queens. The bequest comes from the son of the late Senator Stephen B. Elkins of West Virginia.

In Langsville on Monday night robbers pried open a store and stole a hog that James Chase had killed that day, plus flour, clothing, a case of exes and five gallons of gasoline. Tracks showed their escape. sheriff deputies investigated. In Middleport Walter Keibel lost a pig from a pen, with thieves suspected as the cause and the case under police inquiry.
Four men in a car collided with a funeral procession east of Proctorville Ohio delaying the service for over an hour. The hearse carried the body of Mrs. Vesta Shockley. Liquor bottles were found in the auto. Two occupants were hurt. one gave the name Hugiene Betts of Parkersburg.
