Ohio University Inducts Six Into Athletic Hall of Fame
Ohio University will honor six new members to its Athletic Hall of Fame in a pre game ceremony before the Ohio Dayt on homecoming game. Inductees are Dr George R Krum Kahler deceased Baline R Goldsberry Mark C Hendrickson Horace D Hoke Palmer M Harold Brown and Ker mit Blosser. Kahler was the first OU graduate to play major league baseball with the Cleveland Indians 1910 1915 and Goldsberry served as OU team physician for over 25 years aiding hospital accreditation. Hendrickson starved as All Ohio basketball and baseball player 1915 16 Palmer All Ohio football 1915 and Marine coach 1933 Brown All Buckeye forward with school track marks and Navy victory hero Blosser OU's first wrestling champion 1932 and long time coach and golf mentor. The six bring OU Hall to 14 members and will be feted at a pre game banquet Friday evening at the Ohio University Inn with President Vernon Alden and Athletic Director Bill Rohr presiding.

Friday 7 pm pep rally at Memorial Auditorium west portico announces queen and court. Saturday events include a 9 am homecoming parade with 16 floats, 11:30 am–1 pm alumni luncheon at Bird Arena, 12:30 pm float parade repeat at Peden Stadium, 1:30 pm football vs Dayton at Peden Stadium, 4 pm coffee hour at Bird Arena, 6 pm buffet at Ohio University Inn, 8 pm Kingston Trio concert at Grover Center, and 10:30 pm–1 am homecoming dance at Grover Center.

Paraders Form in Maplewood Ohio Parade Route Revised
Units will assemble on Maplewood and Morris Avenues and march at 9 a.m. from Morris Avenue along E State Street to College Street then to W Union Street and University Terrace. They proceed south to Park Place then west to W Mulberry Street and Richland Avenue to Peden Stadium. Floats circle the Peden Stadium track starting at 12 30 p.m.
