Witness of Paris Capture To Speak At Ohio University

Henry L. Wolfe, New York City war correspondent who entered Paris with the Second French Armored Division, will address Ohio University convocation in Memorial Auditorium at 10 a m Tuesday on The Next Act in Europe. Wolfe notes Paris celebrations gave way to calm, French desire for a lasting peace and punishment of war criminals.

S-Sgt. William H. Morris, 19, son of Mr and Mrs William B Morris of 44 E Main St Gloucester, received his second Air Medal as tail gunner of a Flying Fortress in a veteran heavy bomber group. Four Are Arrested For Excessive Speed On Route 33

Four men were arrested by state highway patrol on Route 33 north of Athens for speeding. Russell Newton 31 of Pt. Pleasant was cited for 64 mph and George Merritt Preston 28 of Lakewood for 65 mph. John Wesley Norris Jr. 30 and Andrew Warren Wilson 31 of Logan were charged with parking on the highway in Haydenville and obstructing traffic. They were to be arraigned today before Mayor W. D. Weltner in Logan.

AHS Dance Following Football Game At Athens High

About 140 students attended the Friday night dance after the AHS Nelsonville football game as part of a planned series after home games. Chaperones included Miss Mary Connett and several teachers. Temperature dipped to 26 last night, with a 58 high yesterday.
